❋ InclusiveEach person’s experience and relationships are different; I’m here to work with you through active listening, not assumptions. Sessions are intended to be affordable to support continuity of care - at £25 each.
❋ IntentionalThis work is about being proactive and responsive; it is part of a life-wide approach to health and wellbeing. Each session is supervised by an experienced teaching acupuncturist.
❋ IntegrativeTogether, we will integrate TCM to work alongside your circumstances, lifestyle, and other existing health care support systems.
What to expectSession
A holistic and collaborative approach to your health.
It’s recommended to eat and hydrate beforehand, arriving 5 minutes early so you can take a moment to settle ahead of the session.
ArrivalThe first consultation involved answering a series of question to get a full picture of you health history and your present experience.
Consultation
The treatment takes place in a multi-bed clinic; you will have your own curtained-off space. In most instances, you’ll only need to remove jackets and socks, and sometimes trousers or tops - your comfort is my priority, so, as with every element of the session, there will be space to discuss what feels most comfy for you. You can bring your own towel, or we can provide couch roll to drape over areas for warmth and privacy.
TreatmentAfter the needles have been removed, there’s a time for a short check-in and a chance for me to share any specific advice to support you in your ongoing well-being.
ClosingAcupuncture’s benefits are accumulative, so depending on your circumstances, you will likely be invited to attend 3-7 follow-up sessions. The clinic has an 8-session maximum with each practitioner.
