To give you a little info on Kinhood Collective…
We are non-judgemental space for LGBTQIA+ pregnant people, parents and kin.
Sometimes online, sometimes in-person.
We exist to support LGBTQIA+ folks navigating family building and reproductive experiences; conception, adoption, pregnancy, birth, abortion, loss, postpartum, and more.
We hold a monthly-ish pregnancy, birth, and beyond meet-up - for anyone who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community and thinking about family building, TTC, currently pregnant, parenting or looking to meet the collective.
A couple of guidelines:
everything you feel is valid and welcome
confidentiality - what is said here stays here; what is learnt here can grow from here
co-creating care - we acknowledge the varied experiences and identities in the space and centre practicing respect for our different needs and approaches
we try to practice yes/and - recognising that multiple truths can exist at once, there is not one ‘right’ way to do anything, avoiding unwarranted advice
